Nkodia / Daniel Kleederman / Allie Young

NkoDia is an Artist , Dancer, Singer, and Song Writer based in the Hudson Valley. Her music is very much inspired by the traditional polyrhythmic Melodies from her homeland in Congo. Her Debut self made album “NZODIAK” is a love letter to the astral world and a medicinal travel through her interpretation of the zodiac seasons. Jaguar Punch , Nkodia’s Production name , is a reflection of the punch in the intricate beats she uses as well as one of the spirits of the national animals of Congo. “Nkodia” a Congolese name symbolizes the spiral and honors the patience of the process of evolution like the snail. Nkodia collaborates with Percussionist Angel Michal Lau, a Peruvian born drummer who also incorporates the rhythms and sounds from this motherland.

A strikingly expressive guitar player whose voice and songs generously detail the vulnerabilities of growing up at any age, Daniel Kleederman likes to journey - creating musical worlds, often by himself, a guitar, and a cassette player, that travel from tender lullaby to explosive psychedelia. Mirroring his musical explorations, Kleederman’s geographical whereabouts are often hard to pin down these days (though temporarily a resident of Catskill, NY!); hailing from the bucolic hills of Western Massachusetts, Kleederman spent a near-decade playing throughout many musical scenes in New York, before becoming a collaborator, lead guitarist, and world traveler with musical powder keg Bartees Strange. Kleederman will be re-releasing his 2022 EP called Grand Kid on cassette, featuring an unreleased full band live track, and an original composition for meditation. He is also set to release a full-length record later this year.

Allie Young is a musician and producer of enigmatic force making gritty vocalpower pop. Honest lyricism cuts through waves of magnetic soundscapes and vocal layers that range from delicate to dissonant and bellowing. Her live performances infuse tenor saxophone, vocal distortion, off-kilter samples and other mysteries.
